Securing food supply

Paul took action to:

• Support south west farmers to stay on the land
• Promote growing and eating local and regional food so our food sources are more secure
• Fund programs for farmers to grow organic and biodynamic food using energy efficient production methods
• Show place of origin on food labels
• Encourage farmers to diversify into farm forestry, wind solar and bio-energy production and carbon farming
• Establish best practice water and energy efficiency in agriculture
