Vision for the South West Region

Paul has a vision for the south west region of Western Australia. His work  as MLC for the South West Region focused on creating a new direction for regional development that is in harmony with the environment.

See the vision captured on YouTubes.

We need to:

  1. Develop renewable energy sources and phase out fossil fuel dependence.
  2. Build only energy efficient commercial and domestic buildings.
  3. Conserve, recycle and reuse our precious water
  4. Minimise household and industrial waste production and deal sensitively with the waste we do produce
  5. Maximise transport efficiency, including more public transport
  6. Considerably reduce our dependence on non-renewable resources
  7. Support sustainable agricultural practises such as organic and biodynamic farming
  8. Manage our natural resources to ensure that present and future generations benefit from them.
